Project Overview
HammerHAI (Hybrid and Advanced Machine Learning Platform for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Research) is a European initiative led by the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) in collaboration with GWDG, KIT, LRZ, and SICOS BW. As one of 19 AI Factories established by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, HammerHAI provides secure, scalable, and accessible AI resources for European industry and research. It combines high-performance computing (HPC) with AI-driven solutions to accelerate innovation and strengthen Europe’s technological independence.
Our Goal
HammerHAI aims to make powerful AI technologies easily available and compliant with European standards such as GDPR and the EU AI Act. The project supports companies, startups, and research institutions in developing, training, and deploying AI applications efficiently and securely. Through its upcoming AI-optimized supercomputer, expert consulting, training programs, and preconfigured AI tools, HammerHAI lowers the barriers to AI adoption and drives digital transformation across Europe’s industrial and scientific landscape.
