Overview
The Smart Data Innovation Lab (SDIL) is a nationwide German research initiative launched in 2014 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Established by national politics and the IT industry, SDIL provides cutting-edge in-memory Big Data infrastructure to address industrial data challenges and advanced analytics research. It serves as a collaborative platform connecting academia, industry, and politics.
Our Goal
SDIL pursues two major goals:
- Networking: Building strong connections between industry and research organizations.
- Infrastructure: Operating a Smart Data Lab that offers state-of-the-art Big Data technologies, analytics support, and consulting for complex projects.
