Project Overview
EarXplore is an interactive, curated database that consolidates research on interaction with earables – sensor-augmented earphones enabling new ways of sensing and control. The platform connects fragmented findings into one accessible resource, supporting exploration, comparison, and discovery in the rapidly growing field of earable interaction. As it is extensible, it is thought of to be applied to further topics soon.
Our Goal
Our goal is to make earable research more transparent, connected, and easy to explore. EarXplore helps researchers identify patterns, track developments, and uncover gaps in the field, accelerating innovation and collaboration within the earable research community.
Highlights
- Four integrated views for exploration: Tabular, Graphical, Similarity, and Timeline
- Interactive filters for fine-grained analysis and quick discovery
- Currently featurin 118 studies on earable interaction, structured across 34 criteria
- Community-driven updates to ensure the platform evolves with the field
Impact
EarXplore transforms how researchers access and synthesize knowledge on earable interaction. By offering dynamic visualizations and semantically linked studies, it enables new forms of discovery and collaboration – turning static literature reviews into a living, evolving resource that supports future breakthroughs in earable technology.
